Palo Santo, also known as Holy Wood, is delicate citrus with aromatic frankincense incense made of the natural woods of the tree Bursera Graveolens which grows in the dry tropical forests that are native to Peru, Ecuador, and other South American countries. For centuries the indigenous people of the Andes, the Incas, and shamans used the wood, resin, and oil as a spiritual remedy to purify, cleanse, rid of evil spirits, misfortunes; treat pain and stress as well as other medicinal purposes.
